Afghan President calls COAS, shares news about Fazalullah’s killing

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Friday called Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and shared news about the killing of Mullah Fazalullah of of terrorist outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a drone strike in Kunar province of Afghanistan.
“Mullah Fazalullah was hiding inside Afghanistan since 2009. Killing of the TTP commander is a positive development. It gives relief to scores of Pakistani families, who fell victims to TTP terror including the APS massacre,” an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release here said.
Pakistan military leadership had always maintained a cooperative and coordinated approach, which was the best response to the menace of terrorism, it added.
