Fauji Foundation (FF) and College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Rawalpindi on Thursday at Fauji Foundation Head office.
According to the agreement, Fauji Foundation has teamed up with COTHM to provide state-of-the-art training in Hospitality Sector at its newly established Foundation Institute of Technology (FIT) adjacent to DHA-II, Islamabad. Earlier this year, FIT has established a new Department of Tourism and Hospitality to bring quality TVET to the region.
The agreement signing will pave the way for inspiring and effective opportunities for our ever potentially talented youth thereby providing further meaningful participation in nation building.
Fauji Foundation is embarking into expansion of its training programs along with upgradation of existing facilities through initiatives of associating its TVET institutes in collaboration with industries and branded training providers focusing on need based and demand driven training. The idea is to help improve productivity through value addition at the work place. Furthermore, Foundation University has been vertically integrated with TVET to provide academic incentives to youth pursuing higher education ambitions.
