Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir observed the Strike Corps’ Collective Training exercise at the Corps Level on November 21, 2023. The I Corps is a field corps of the Pakistan Army headquartered in the Mangla Cantonment, Pak-occupied Kashmir in Pakistan.
The exercise aimed to evaluate offensive operational strategies. General Munir witnessed a demonstration of intricate maneuvers led by an armored formation equipped with cutting-edge VT-4 tanks.
The Army Chief met with the exercise participants and praised their enthusiasm, operational effectiveness, and expertise.
General Munir emphasized the importance of combat preparedness and mental agility in order to deal with the multifaceted threat spectrum. He discussed the significance of fostering synergy between various arms in light of the rapidly evolving threat landscape. He also expressed his appreciation for the proficiency gained in nighttime operations.
He stressed that only realistic mission-oriented training in peacetime can guarantee success on the battlefield if the need arises.
