Cadets from 12 foreign military academies in 10 countries including Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, together with cadets from 11 Chinese army academies participated in the event.
This International Army Cadets Week is organized by the Army Engineering University of Chinese PLA. With the theme of “cultivating the capability of junior officers in the Army”, this event aims to build an international exchange platform for young army cadets from various countries and promote mutual learning among them. During the event, 70 Chinese and foreign cadets are mixed into groups for a week of study, training, exchanges, and visits.
Since 2005, the International Army Cadets Week has been successfully held for nine sessions. The event has played a positive role in demonstrating the educational achievements of the Chinese army, enhancing mutual understanding and trust between Chinese and foreign army academies, consolidating the intercollegiate cooperation mechanism with foreign army academies, and developing friendly relations with the militaries of various countries.
