Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, met with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during an official visit to the kingdom. The two leaders discussed a range of issues, with a particular focus on strengthening military cooperation between their nations.
According to a press release from Pakistan’s military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the discussions covered “wide-ranging issues of mutual interest, including regional peace and security, bilateral defence and security cooperation.”

The Crown Prince reportedly emphasized the long-standing and close relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, highlighting their history of mutual support. He expressed Saudi Arabia’s desire to further solidify these ties and reiterated the kingdom’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan’s future.
General Munir, in response, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and ongoing support from Saudi Arabia.
The meeting included high-level officials from both sides. Representing Saudi Arabia were Prince Khalid bin Salman (Defense Minister), Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban (National Security Advisor), and military leaders. Pakistan’s delegation comprised Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Major General Mohammed Jawad Tariq (Secretary to the Army Chief), and the Military Attaché in Riyadh.
