Pakistan forces enter Helmand, claims Afghan commander

Afghanistan has alleged that Pakistan armed forces have entered its Helmand province to fight against Afghan forces.

Abdul Rehman Sarai Jang, police commander of the Helmand province, told the foreign media that the Pakistan Army was trying to shift its Quetta Shura to Helmand to create unrest there. He alleged that Pakistan had decided to create disturbances in the province.

The provincial council of Helmand also declared that Afghan forces have witnessed the presence of Pakistan armed forces personnel in the area and a number of important commanders of the Quetta Shura are hiding in some areas of Helmand. It further alleged that the Pakistani soldiers are the main cause of unrest in Helmand.
