Pakistan Navy Chief Inspects Operational Readiness in Karachi


Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness and combat readiness of Pakistani naval units. His visit spanned several key locations, including Creeks Brigade Sujawal, PNS AKRAM Gwadar, Jinnah Naval Base, Pakistan Navy Hospital, Cadet College Ormara, and PN Ships at PN Dockyard Karachi.

Upon arrival at each location, Admiral Ashraf received briefings on the prevailing threat environment and defense strategies. He interacted with officers and personnel, commending their dedication and readiness to respond to any potential adversary action.

The inspection also included an evaluation of the PN’s latest weapons and equipment, ensuring their optimal utilization for the nation’s defense. Admiral Ashraf expressed satisfaction with the overall operational readiness of the deployed elements and praised the professional prowess and dedication of the troops.

He highlighted the challenging and harsh environment of the Creeks and Coastal Areas, emphasizing the importance of their role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime borders. Additionally, he acknowledged the challenges posed by the regional maritime domain and commended the PNS’s preparedness in addressing them.

Admiral Ashraf concluded his visit by emphasizing the need for continuous improvement and motivation among the troops. He directed the field units to leverage the latest technology and resources effectively to ensure the impregnable defense of Pakistan.
