KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy conducted its Annual Safety Review 2023 in Karachi, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release on Tuesday.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf was the chief guest at the event, which aimed to examine and critically review the safety initiatives and standards implemented over the past year.
The event recognized and awarded units, commands, and individuals who successfully adhered to and promoted safety standards with Safety Trophies and Certificates.
Earlier, the Pakistan Navy organized an annual safety seminar to emphasize the importance of safety and its implementation. During the seminar, field command panels presented research papers on various safety aspects and current trends to promote safety within the Navy.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf, speaking at the event, highlighted the Navy’s commitment to enhancing the safety system. “The Pakistan Navy is well aware of the emerging security challenges in the region and is always ready to deal with any threat,” stated the Chief of the Naval Staff, as quoted by ISPR.
