Expressing shared concern over recent events in the Middle East, Deputy PM Dar and the Saudi Foreign Minister called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. They also acknowledged the pivotal role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in addressing issues affecting the Muslim Ummah, including the situations in Palestine and Kashmir.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Hassan Shoukry to discuss various facets of Pakistan-Egypt relations, emphasizing the need to bolster ties based on shared faith, cultural affinity, and mutual perspectives on regional and global matters.
Furthermore, Dar held discussions with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation across all sectors. Both sides agreed to sustain engagement to foster bilateral relations comprehensively.
Highlighting the government’s commitment, Dar emphasized the aim of evolving the traditionally fraternal relations with Kuwait into a mutually beneficial economic partnership.
In solidarity with Palestine, both leaders condemned Israel’s ongoing conflict in Gaza and urged the UNSC to promptly secure a ceasefire and facilitate humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza.
During a meeting with Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zindani, Pakistan expressed interest in exploring cooperation avenues, particularly in the education sector.
Additionally, Dar exchanged views with his Nigerien counterpart Bakary Yaou Sangare, affirming their dedication to bolstering bilateral dialogue and cooperation, particularly in economic realms.
The two sides also discussed coordination within the OIC framework, pledging to continue collaborative efforts to advance collective interests within the OIC and beyond.
