Pakistan Security Forces Engage Terrorists in North Waziristan


Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan’s security forces conducted successful operations in North Waziristan district on Friday and Saturday, eliminating ten terrorists and injuring three others, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on [date].

Neutralizing Threats: The ISPR reported that four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Friday. A subsequent sanitization operation resulted in the neutralization of four more terrorists by security forces.

In a separate operation, security forces detected five terrorists attempting to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan. Following an intense firefight, two of the attackers, identified as Hazrat Umer and Rehman Niaz, were killed, while three others sustained injuries.

The ISPR statement emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing call for the interim Afghan government to improve border management on its side of the border. This includes preventing the use of Afghan territory by terrorist groups for launching attacks against Pakistan.

The ISPR reiterated the Pakistani security forces’ unwavering determination to secure the nation’s borders and eliminate the threat of terrorism within the country.
