Peshawar, Pakistan – Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in South Waziristan, eliminating eight terrorists. The operation, carried out in the Sararogha area, disrupted ongoing terrorist activities and safeguarded the region.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the operation commenced based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. During the intense fire exchange that ensued, eight terrorists were neutralized.
The ISPR further stated that the eliminated terrorists were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities, posing a threat to both security forces and innocent civilians. A cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered during the operation.
A comprehensive sanitization operation is currently underway to identify and eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The security forces remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicate terrorism and restore peace and stability in the region.
