Six Security Personnel Killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan

Six security personnel lost their lives in separate incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan on Friday night and Saturday.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:

Dera Ismail Khan: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kot Sultan area, killing eight militants in a gunfight. These militants were reportedly involved in attacks on security forces and civilian killings. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the scene.
North Waziristan: Two suspected militants were killed in another exchange of fire with security forces during an operation in the district.

Lakki Marwat:

DSP and Two Cops Martyred: Three security personnel were killed in separate attacks. DSP Gul Muhammad and Constable Naseem Gul were fatally shot by armed men who ambushed their police van near Manjiwala Chowk. Constable Farooq Khan was injured in the attack.
Constable Killed on Leave: Constable Sanamat Khan was shot and killed by unknown assailants near his house in the Sra Darga area. He was stationed in North Waziristan but on leave in his village.
The injured constable was taken to a hospital in Peshawar for treatment. Officials are investigating these incidents.
