KARACHI, Pakistan. Engineers at X Technologies Inc., an engineering services and products company in San Antonio, Texas, are developing a standard test system for use by the Pakistan Air Force based on a newly signed memorandum of understanding (MOU).
X Technologies’ test system will have the capability to support testing of all Pakistan Air Force jet engines. Company and military officials signed the MoU during a ceremony in Karachi, Pakistan, at the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2016.
X Technologies was showcasing its engineering capabilities at IDEAS2016 along with local representatives from FMG Global.
The purpose of the agreement is to extend the capabilities of the company’s enhanced Generic Engine Test (eGENT) test system to include additional jet, turbo jet, and turbo shaft engine types,” explains X Technologies Technical Director Max Thrailkill.
